德國新一季的《Deutschland sucht den SuperStar》（直譯：德國尋找巨型）的成績上個星期已經出爐。

得獎的SuperStar是一位金頭髮的Tobias Regner。

類型有一點想Nickelback那一類的搖滾歌手。別讓Deutschland sucht den SuperStar這一個名字騙了，裏頭所演繹的歌曲不像我們的《Malaysian Idol》般可以聽到很多本土語言馬來歌曲。在這個尋星比賽裏，幾乎所有歌曲都是英語。

而這些“英語”都不是德國的鄰居 - 英國的英語。而是相隔一個大西洋，遠在對岸的“美國英語”。

如果你想趁著足球盛事到德國去遊玩，可別以爲在去旅行之前多聼一些德語歌曲，然後可以“以音樂交友”，在那兒認識一些德國朋友。

因爲德國的年輕人基本上都不太喜歡德語歌曲。那些受歡迎的流行音樂台大多數播的歌曲都是英語美國歌曲。

《Deutschland sucht den SuperStar》這個比賽當然也不例外。所有參賽者唱的歌曲都是 英語 美國歌曲。就連得獎人的第一曲目《I Still Burn》也是用“美國英語”來演繹。

“Idol”這個電視節目的始祖是英國的《Pop Idol》。但，傳播去全世界的不是它本身，而是美國的《American Idol》。他們所辦的《World Idol》其實也是宣揚“英語文化”的一種工具。

我們較熟悉的Kurt Nilsen從挪威的《Idol Norway》出道時，也是透過“英語”歌曲《She’s So High》得獎（原唱者是1999年非常紅的Tal Bachman）。注意哦！得獎歌曲不是Bokmål語，也不是Nynorsk語，而是英語歌曲。

我們常常在中文媒體聽到“中國崛起，中文價值日升”，很多都學“漢語”。呵呵，在英語面前看來也是小巫見大巫。現在，不只人人都學英語，人人更“愛英語”。

語言地位崇高也不只要有經濟背景，文化產業的渲染能力更是其中最主要的原因。
